We have had a great first few weeks back in Year 3. The children have settled into KS2 really well. We have been reading Charlie and the Chocolate Factory in English; using the book to describe the characters. In Maths we are focusing on place value and understanding numbers up to 1,000. In Gymnastics on a Friday, we have been working with a partner to create symmetrical balances – there were some excellent ones today! In Science our topic for this half term is animals including humans. We have been learning about food groups and what benefits each different food group has on our bodies.
