Reception Class thoroughly enjoyed our recent "Take It Outside Day!"  We spent most of the day outside where we explored lots of different areas in our school grounds.   We were looking for minibeasts and found lots!  We looked in the long and the short grass, around trees and in bushes. We looked in the log piles and in our pond!  We found spiders, slugs and snails in the grassy conservation area where we carefully looked in the long grass and around the trunks of the trees.  When we looked in our pond  we were fascinated to see tadpoles and a fantastic and rather large frog!  We will check back soon to see how the tadpoles have changed!
