Today, we had a visit from Emma from Gateshead Council's Pedestrian Team.
We learned the 4 points of the Green Cross Code:
- Stop
- Look (right, left, right)
- Listen
- Think
We also talked about the different types of crossing we can use when crossing roads:
- A zebra crossing.
- A pedestrian crossing.
- A puffin crossing (a crossing for pedrestrians and bikes).
- A pegasus crossing (a crossing for pedrestians and horses).
- A school crossing patrol where you should always walk in front of the controller.
- A traffic island.
- A footbridge (above the road) or a pedrestrian crossing (under the road).
