26/1/24 Musical ‘Sport’tues!

Year 5 are taking part in a physical challenge organised by Gateshead School Sports Partnership. The PASSPORT TO PARIS project challenges children to complete 5 monthly physical activity challenges. The project has a particular focus on the Olympic and Paralympic Games, which are taking part this year in Paris, France.

Over the next 5 monthly challenges, whilst the Olympics is a constant theme throughout, the GSSP want children to keep a track on how their physical and mental fitness is developing. Every month they will complete a physical activity challenge. Following this they will need
to complete a journal entry to let GSSP know what they have done that month (focusing on PE) and how they feel about themselves.

This month’s challenge was Musical ‘Sport’tues- an Olympic version of the game ‘Musical Statues’.
