We hope you all had a lovely Easter break and we are looking forward to a busy term in Year 3.

Year 3 Spring Term Curriculum:

English: Our class novels this term are ‘Bill’s New Frock’ by Anne Fine and The ‘Iron Man’ by Ted Hughes.

 Maths: Fractions, Money, Time and Statistics

 History: Local History

 Geography: Land Use

 Computing: Desktop Publishing and Logo

 

French: Describing People and Things / Expressing Likes

 PE: Tennis / Health and Fitness / Yoga / Orienteering and Map Skills

 Music: Bringing Us Together (Disco)

 RE: Islam

 PSHCRE: Physical and Emotional Health and Mental Wellbeing

 Art: Claude Monet Art Study

Pedestrian training (6 Sessions) beginning Thursday 18th April

Cricket coaching PE session– Friday 26th April

Visit to Gibside (National Trust) Estate – Friday 7th June
