We are all thoroughly enjoying our phonics sessions in Reception!  We have spent the last few weeks listening really carefully to sounds and words. We have enjoyed singing and saying rhymes and can identify words that rhyme. We can identify when sounds are the same and different and have enjoyed playing listening games.  We can say the sound that we hear first in a word and have really loved playing games focused on this skill, so much so lots of children enjoyed playing Mrs Gamble's games when it was time for them to choose their own activities!
