Reception class have been exploring the colourful and noisy world of fireworks.  We talked about the importance of keeping safe when near bonfires and fireworks and shared our own experiences of watching fireworks.  We talk about the colours and sounds we heard.  In class we drew our own fireworks, created rockets using a variety of shapes and also created our own fireworks with construction kits.  Outside, we explored a variety of instruments creating the noises of fireworks,  we jumped and twisted using colourful ribbons to make us look like fireworks!  In PE we created a dance where we created firework shapes with our bodies.
