Today, we all came to school in our own clothes and brought our wellingtons with us.  We spent lots of time outside.  We explored our grounds and talked about the changing seasons.  We discussed how our school grounds have changed recently and identified lots of changes in the trees.  We found some very muddy puddles on the school field and talked about how the rain has made our field water logged.  We spotted an empty nest in a bare tree and talked about how some birds have migrated.  We also talked about some animals that may be hibernating over the winter.  We finished our day with hot chocolate, juice and biscuits while sitting outside!
