Reception Class have had a fabulous day in the sunshine! We started off by discovering some clues which we had to read! The clues took us all around the school grounds, our final destination was the school library where we found a basket full of delicious chocolate for us to share! We then explored our school grounds, we discussed how the trees had changed over the last few weeks, we found trees with blosssom on and trees with new leaves beginning to unfurl! In the conservation area we hunted for minibeasts and found some wood lice and ladybirds! We created a habitat for the ladybirds in a special pot and kept them so we could look at them throughout the day, we made sure that we released them just before home time! We looked in the pond and saw some tadpoles, we talked about how they have changed since we saw the frog spawn last week. We think we saw a big frog too!
