Reception Class have been finding out about some of the coldest parts of our world, we explored what life is like at the North and South Poles.  We found out about the climate in these areas and about the animals that live there and how they manage to survive in such cold temperatures.  We read the story, "In Arctic Waters" and also made up our own stories with our small world animals.  We painted some of the animals that are found in The Arctic and in Antarctica, played a fishing game with numbers and also made dens that would keep us warm in cold temperatures!
