The weather could not have been better for our much anticipated visit to Beamish on Wednesday. We have really been enjoying learning about life in Victorian times and couldn't wait to see for ourselves what life was really like. We visited the pit village and had a really memorable lesson in Victorian schoolhouse and saw for ourselves just how different it was to our experience at Clover Hill.

After a picnic in the sunshine, we headed to the pit houses and coal mine before walking into the town to visit the dentist, Co-op and other shops before catching the tram back to school ready for the Halloween disco. The time flew by and we would have loved to stay even longer. These photos should give you a flavour of a great day!
